Why Should I Do a Leadership Assessment?

Because seeing yourself clearly is the first step to growth
Leaders at the top don’t get much unfiltered feedback.
But that perspective - and the clarity it brings - is often what makes the difference between keeping pace and continuing to grow.
Most I meet are experienced, capable, and effective - but they’ve often grown as far as they know how on their own. That’s where assessments come in.
A good assessment acts like a mirror.
It reflects your strengths.
It validates what you’re doing well.
And it shines a light on blind spots that are harder to see.
It won’t tell you how you should lead.
Instead, it helps you understand how you naturally lead - so your growth feels authentic, not forced.
The value is in what you do with that insight.
When you see yourself clearly, you can double down on what works best, make targeted shifts where they’ll have the biggest impact, and stop wasting energy trying to “be everything.”
And the tool itself is only part of the picture. What makes the difference is how it’s interpreted and debriefed. You should walk away feeling seen and understood - with support, challenge, and perspective you can actually use.
That's why I call my approach a "Discovery Experience" - because we make sense of the data together, as opposed to just handing over a report.
Leadership assessments, at their best, aren’t just navel gazing.
They set the foundation for coaching and development that matter - helping you lead and grow in a way that’s both sustainable and authentic.
