Three Pathways to Clarity

Every executive’s journey is different. The Discovery Experience gives you three ways to deepen your insight - from a solid foundation of self-awareness, to a rounded perspective that includes reputation, through to a full leadership profile that also reveals your reasoning capability under pressure.
Internal View: A lens or camera focusing clearly on one part of a landscape, with the background blurred - symbolising self-awareness and clarity.

Internal View

Sharper self-awareness starts here.
Best for growth-minded executives who want a clear, evidence-based picture of their leadership strengths and blindspots.
Internal View is the foundation of the Discovery Experience. It gives you an objective look at how you operate, what drives you, and how you respond under pressure. With a guided Discovery session and a clear written report, you’ll walk away with sharper self-awareness and practical clarity on where to focus your energy.
Objective insight into personality, values, and drivers
Behaviour under pressure profile
2-hour guided Discovery session
Clear written report highlighting strengths, blindspots, and growth areas
360 Perspective: A top-down view of boats arranged in a circle, symbolising reputation and feedback from all directions.

360 Perspective

See yourself through others' eyes.
Best for executives who want to compare their self-view with their reputation and leadership impact.
360 Perspective adds external feedback from colleagues, board members, or direct reports to your self-assessment. This rounded perspective helps you see where perception and reality align - and where they don’t - so you can better understand your leadership reputation and refine your impact.
Objective insight into personality, values, and drivers
Behaviour under pressure profile
360 feedback process capturing external perspectives
3-hour guided Discovery session
Expanded report integrating self-view and external insights
Capability View: A wide horizon shot with clear detail, symbolising seeing the full leadership picture.

Capability View

The most complete leadership picture.
Best for executives preparing for bigger roles who want the fullest picture of their style, reputation, and reasoning capability under pressure.
Capability View combines self-insight, external reputation, and reasoning capability under pressure to create a comprehensive leadership profile. You’ll understand not only what drives you and how others see you, but also how you think, analyse, and make decisions in demanding contexts. It’s the clearest foundation for targeted development and career progression.

FAQ

Leadership Assessments - The Discovery Experience

Quick answers to help you understand what to expect.
What is a leadership assessment?

An objective process that shows how you operate, what drives you, and how you respond under pressure - so you can set focused growth priorities.

Is it just tests and a report?

No. You’ll complete questionnaires, then have a guided Discovery session with a psychologist, and receive a clear written report.

Who sees the results?

You do. For development, your results are confidential to you.

What are the options?

Internal View - personality, values, drivers, and behaviour under pressure.
360 Perspective - Internal View plus external feedback on your reputation and impact.
Capability View - 360 Perspective plus reasoning capability under pressure (critical thinking and numerical).

How long does it take?

~2 hours for Internal View, ~3 hours for 360 Perspective, and ~3.5 hours for Capability View, plus time to complete questionnaires beforehand.

How should I prepare?

For Capability View, it helps to review practice reasoning questions. Otherwise, no special preparation - just answer honestly and come ready to reflect.

What happens afterwards?

You’ll leave with clear growth priorities. Many leaders continue with The Growth Journey coaching to turn insight into action.
